Costs and how classes run

Join any time, space permitting and subject to booking.

£34 per person for 4 weeks OR PART THEREOF – CASH ONLY. PAY IN CLASS. Your term fee runs consecutively, and is due at the end of each 4 weeks in advance of the next 4 weeks, to reserve your space, and gain access to membership benefits, for as long as you wish to attend… simple!

A trial session is welcome – £10 – see below for more information.

Classes are offered on a manageable and affordable 4 weekly rate. A simple term fee system means a fair class rate. You have motivation to attend, a guaranteed space each week, sufficient space for comfort and capped numbers for effective teaching with a long term experienced teacher in good independent venues … Just come and enjoy.

COVID-19  – PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 virus and social distancing guidelines, spaces are very limited and in high demand  – we all could use a little stress relief currently. If you are serious about understanding how yoga can work for you, please get in touch. You may or may not get into class immediately, but people come and go for all sorts of reasons and it is worth getting on the waiting list for a space to become available. You are under no obligation should your circumstances change.

I strongly advise to book a minimum of 2 months in advance for January – online deposit required for January & February bookings once a space is offered.

COVID-19 Guarantee: your classes are safe. If the event classes have to close due to a lockdown, your unused classes will get carried over to when classes reopen. It is up to you to return and use them. Classes have been running for 18 years and survived a 6 month shutdown which saw many students eagerly return in Sept 2020 to enjoy their classes once again.

COVID-19 Guidelines: Fitness classes are permitted to operate with more than 6 people provided all protocol is met. (COVID-19 secure) class numbers are still capped by law in relation to COVID-19 at a certain amount, as long as social distancing rules are upheld. Class numbers are based on the size of the venue to the maximum permitted amount of people. Full COVID-19 guidance will be issued when a space is offered to you.

Can I do one class first, to try it?

Yes you can. A one-off trial session is £10. Cash only. Pay in class. No commitment. Open to any new student regardless of whether you have done yoga before. Booking is still required, space permitting.
If you are unsure a trial session is a great way to have a go, while a trial is welcome it is only a taste! Several classes are recommended to form a fully educated opinion as classes vary in content each week.

What if I can’t attend?

Awaken with Yoga offers a bonus system if you wish to take advantage of it. In the event you may have an OCCASIONAL genuine reason you cannot attend, such as a parents evening or a family emergency, and you can attend during the week but not your normal registered class, you can book to switch to another session during that week. Sorry, continual week to week work related issues cannot be accommodated.

If you cannot attend ANY class during the course of a week (e.g. due to illness), sessions can be made up by attending 2 sessions in any ONE week you decide throughout your personal attendance year – from the time you join to the same time the following year. You do not have to make classes up immediately, so there is no pressure. Doing more than one session of yoga a week works at a deeper level and you will really notice the difference.

When the above system is respected it works – and mostly people are accommodated week to week. Please consider: many classes and courses charge a block booking but there will be no refund or there may be no classes to swap to if you cannot attend a session – I arrange it from goodwill and although not a right – this is a bonus!

There are free personal weeks available after a qualifying period of attendance. You choose when to take them and what for.

There are close downs in line with main / school holiday seasons.

How to book

Classes are popular and class numbers are capped for your comfort and effective learning; therefore you need to check space availability to see when you can start.

Either email, phone or fill in the contact form on the Contact page.  Please continue reading the How to book page for further essential information.

Questions relating to health matters are not answered on email, please phone. I am more than happy to help you.

Ensuring you get the most out of yoga is my main priority. You are under no obligation to attend if you phone me. Alternatively, have a thorough read of this website; it might answer your questions – go to the About Yoga page. Again, if you are unsure please call me.

Why would you like to call?

You may wish to ask questions in relation to a specific health matter personal to you, and to see how yoga can help your particular needs and how suitable it is for you. Please call if you are unsure I am more than happy to help you.
