Let go & feel free

let-goJust as the bird has to find the courage to let go of the branch in order to fly,

so we also must let go of our branches if we are to know the exhilaration of soaring to the highest potential of our life.

The branches we hold to are our inner attachments – our beliefs, ideas and thoughts, memories that often hold us back.

And then there are the outer attachments – people, possessions, positions physical conditions are but a few.

What attachments inside and, out stop you from flying.

We all have something our HEART wants to follow!

Enthusiasm

http://www.flickr.com/photos/smazurov/4561216355/To be enthusiastic is to be free.

A caged bird has the ability to fly, but is unable to spread its wings and soar.

I need to remind myself that  being enthusiastic in all situations is like being a free bird reaching great heights.

When I experience this inner freedom and appreciate the joy it brings, I will  be able to sustain it even when things go wrong.

To be enthusiastic is to be free..

To have love for the self means to finish the weaknesses within

Projection: When we make a mistake we usually think about it a lot and continue to feel guilty. The continued thought about the mistake magnifies it and we think it is difficult to change or overcome that weakness.

Solution: Like a mother who accommodates the mistakes of the child, yet has the best wishes for the child to be free from them, we, too, need to deal with ourselves with love in order to finish the weakness that is working within us. We need to recognise and work with some speciality that is within us, which will help us overcome the weakness.

Remain connected with the spirit

Ego is any false image I hold of myself. To consider myself to be a body is the oldest, deepest ego. When the body breaks down I am faced with thinking “I am no longer competent, capable or able”.

However, when I remember that the body is the vehicle for the soul, I can conquer this subtle ego and remain capable and competent independent of the state of the body. It’s time to conquer the false image of myself as a body and remain connected with the spirit driving the body.

It will help experience better through the eyes of an athlete. If time permits, it’s valuable to see this 20 minutes absolutely breath-taking true story entitled “You Are Not Your Body” http://www.youtube.com/embed/bX32U_hfri4
